Bengaluru Space Expo 2016

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in association with Antrix Corporation & Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is organizing the 5th “Bengaluru Space Expo 2016 – a focused exhibition on Space, Satellites, launch vehicles and Its product & Technologies scheduled from 1 to 3 September, 2016, at Bangalore International Exhibition Center (BIEC), Bengaluru, Karnataka, (India). The focused theme for BSX 2016 edition is “Industry participation for space systems production, infrastructure creation and applications delivery”.

A concurrent International Conference “World Space-Biz” would also be organized highlighting the achievements of Industry and discuss the future requirements of & from Industry. Presentations will be made by experts from the Space Industry from India and overseas.

Effort put in by Indian scientists and engineers has made India self-reliant and has paved the way for new initiatives to take the technology out of the laboratories and within the reach of private industry. This phenomenal growth has also enthused overseas aerospace community to participate with India vigorously in international space programmes. The inclusion of Space as one of the focus sectors in the Make-in-India initiative is an indication of Government of India’s commitment in increasing industry participation in production of satellites, subsystems and infrastructure as well as engaging in related services.

In order to mobilize participation and visitors for the 5th Bengaluru Space Expo 2016, a formal invitation letter from Chairman –Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), CMD – Antrix and Director General –CII along with brochure giving detailed information on the Exhibition & Conference is enclosed for ready reference and information.
